The day to day operation of our summer camp would not be possible without the hearts and the hands of the individuals who come to serve as volunteer staff members.   Our volunteers always make a difference while providing invaluable help to our paid staff members. 

As a volunteer one can expect to spend one or more of our camp sessions helping provide for the needs of our campers and ensuring that the campers are having an unforgettably fun time.  Each volunteer is an extra set of hands for our staff, and is a friend to our campers.  While volunteers are at Anderson Woods to serve our special people, they can expect to come away from the experience a changed and better person.

Part of a service group?

Preparation of the Anderson Woods campground for the summer would be impossible without the selfless gift of time from numerous volunteer groups that help us. Volunteers from Scout groups, church groups, and local businesses spend Saturdays in the spring helping to clear the trails and prepare the cabins for the arrival of our campers.
